It's time to dust off those Qurans and pull out some prayer rugs because Ramadan is nearly here! The month of growling stomachs and plentiful ibadah. You might be dreaming of crisp, savory samosas or the heavenly feeling you get when you lay your eyes upon the Iftar table after such a grueling day. Truth is, Ramadan should evoke excitement, not because of the delicious food, but due to the fact that it's the month of rahma. Allah has blessed us with such a time in the year when we can go back to Him after the 12 month's of sinning and still get forgiven and elevated in piety. If that's not the most jaw-dropping bit of information you've heard all day then I honestly don't know what to say. Anyone would be a fool not to take advantage of such a blessed month. So this Ramadan, forget about filling your stomach with greasy appetizers. Focus on what matters most: filling your Jannah bank with stacks of good deeds.
