#MyExperience: Shocking Modesty

I’ve witnessed pure humbleness and humility in action by my dearest friend. As juniors, universities reach out to us by our given credentials and scores. AF, an alias used for this post, is a well-known genius who is amazing academically and as a friend. Her skills and achievements speak for themselves, no matter her attempts in hiding them. We all have experiences with people who lower themselves despite all that proves otherwise. It was just a casual evening, when she mentions an email from Princeton on topic to universities. She immediately lessened the impact it blew in my direction, that such a high profile school was just another university though grateful for all the offers she receives, and that she is a student amongst us. Masha Allah, she’s a stunning example of a humble and modest person. The humility she displays despite the sources that shine her worthiness from all she has earned, is true evidence of her quality of character.
