In this age of technology, exposure to the livelihood of others, regardless of their social status, is rampant. Celebrities posting their luxurious vacations, beautiful clothing, or expensive assets have become the norm, and people even join social media specifically for the reason of being able to see it. Now, even people who may not have the means for these luxuries go out of their way to give the illusion of living as these social media influencers do.
While this isn’t meant to be for shaming them, what needs to be addressed is the fact of what constant exposure and how we choose to react to it. Even the most of humble people feel the need to post their charity, and while their intention may be pure, the fact of the matter is that people still feel the need to display their beauty instead of their humility.
