Deflowering the youth has increased beyond mere thoughts. There seems to be a disease spreading, yet its increased acceptance is blinding peoples better judgement.
You are only a minor, full of naïveté and need for guidance. Finally accepted into the highest programs a high-school has to offer- you go in. It’s freshman year! Your ambitions flying and motivation seeming to be ceaseless; the journey onto university seems full proof. Of course, there is the anxiety that comes along being in a new place. It’s scary yet enticing. This would be the place you’d spend 4 years working, and one day see the fruits of your efforts upon graduating. While these thoughts are running through your mind- a man introduces himself. Panic strikes- you lose your voice. Nodding in reply to their question of being new in order be polite was not the first choice at mind. Upon hearing the unfamiliar voice- you realize you’re trapped. There was no where to run. The ocean of people felt like you were drowning, and every step was a breath of air. Clashing thoughts of not assuming others of being terrible and defaulting others as possible overtakers- people who will use and abuse you left your mind in circles. Your innocence is still apparent- not at all tainted. By the mercy of Allah (swt), the entrance to the auditorium was only a step away. Peace of mind is regained, and you feel the anxiety perish. The first moments of high-school are engraved into your memory.
